The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) was founded in 1981 as a coalition of democratic opposition forces working to replace the clerical regime with a free, pluralistic democracy. Guided by principles such as free elections, separation of religion and state, equality for women, and the abolition of the death penalty, it serves as Iran’s Parliament-in-Exile with over 530 members.
